WARCS’ the Wolds And Riverbank Countryside Society aims are to promote the conservation, protection and improvement of the physical and natural environment in the area south of a line drawn from Holme on Spalding Moor to Bishop Burton including by promoting biological diversity and to advance the education of the public in the conservation, protection and improvement of the physical and natural environment. We put on a series of talks and other events on a range of related topics for members and guests. We also own and maintain a Reserve comprising a small wood and wildflower meadow on the edge of Elloughton.
