Alan Marshall will talk on plants and show his legendary slides. Alan has visited us before and we can recommend his photography.


Friday 18th February 2005  YORKSHIRE WILDLIFE

Another good friend and strong supporter of our Society, Jon Traill will show pictures and recount stories of wildlife in Yorkshire


Sunday 6th March 2005  WOOD WORKING PARTY

Please come and join other friends working for two hours in the Reserve, cutting back brambles, path clearing pruning and planting starting at 2pm and finishing at four


Friday T.B.A. March 2005  RSPB BEMPTON RESERVE

Need any advice on Binoculars or Scopes then this is the meeting not to miss. Trevor Charlton, RSPB Warden will give an illustrated talk on the RSPB Reserve at Flamborough and advise us on how to choose binoculars.


Sunday 3rd April 2005  WOOD WORKING PARTY

Sunday 17th April 2005. WARCS TIDY Up

Public footpaths in Elloughton Dale. Volunteers can join either the morning group - meet at the bottom of Elloughton Dale at the entrance to Peggy Farrow lane at 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. or afternoon at 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.


Friday 6th May 2005 - HEDGEHOGS AND THE A G M

Lorraine Jackson to talk to us about Hedgehogs together with the ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING of the Society.  Any comments or questions by members welcome.


Other Meetings on the Drawing Board are, A Puffin Boat Trip, a talk on Rivers in our area and we are trying to get someone to do a Beetle survey in the Reserve, also there is a distinct possibility of running another coach trip in 2005, probably to Castle Howard in September.
